JJ is the Principal of James & Co. Advocates and Solicitors, bringing close to a decade of experience in corporate and conveyancing practice. A graduate of the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, JJ holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2015.
While JJ began her legal career with exposure to general and corporate litigation, her primary focus has since evolved to corporate advisory and conveyancing matters. She is deeply experienced in handling commercial transactions and providing legal support for a wide spectrum of corporate exercises involving both private and public listed companies.
JJ has acted for companies in sectors ranging from oil and gas to property development, and her portfolio includes advising on:

She has also assisted clients in family and probate matters, as well as provided support for legal due diligence submissions to the Securities Commission Malaysia.
